Nothing is worse than dry cracked lips. I have tried endless products that are hits or misses at fixing my dry lip issue. Sometimes they work, but sometimes they don’t. Sometimes when they do work the effects only last an hour or two and then you are right back where you started. One thing that I know I can turn to time after time to fix my dry lip issue is by Terry Baume de Rose.
I want to disclaim that this is a luxury lip balm, first and foremost. I have seen mixed reviews where people say it is a great balm but balk at the price tag. I get it. I truly get it. Luxury items aren’t for everyone. And this one may not be for you if you don’t suffer from dry lips to a point where nothing really works. If you do suffer from dry lips though, by Terry Baume de Rose may be one luxury item you find that you can’t live without.
A little info on by Terry Baume de Rose:
What it is: A delicately scented, deeply hydrating formula that repairs, nourishes and revitalizes your lips and cuticles.
What it does: This celebrity skin care secret contains a lipo-regenerating complex made from rose flower essential wax and pastel oil to boost cell renewal. The soothing and healing powers of shea butter leave lips feeling deliciously smooth while ceramides and vitamin E help protect and fortify this delicate area against the signs of aging. The ultra-nourishing salve doubles as a strengthening treatment for your cuticles.
I can’t speak to the anti-aging part of this lip treatment, but by Terry Baume de Rose is fantastic as a whole. When my lips start feeling dry I fish this out of my collection and keep it on my bedside table. I apply it before bed, which instantly soothes my lips. The best part is that when I wake up I can still feel the smooth, soothing feeling. I also apply this straight out of the shower.
