Back to school time is here and instead of telling you about the boring pens, pencils, and paper that you need I am going to give you a college basics checklist that addresses basic hygiene. I know back in my college years I didn’t take as good of care of my skin and hair as I could have. Beauty products have come a long way since then also. There are all kinds of products on the market that make it easier to keep your complexion clear and your hair gorgeous and I am going to tell you a few of my favorites.
College Beauty Checklist | Skincare
For starters lets talk about the skin on our face. There are lots of early mornings and late nights in college and it is SO EASY to be lazy and not remove our makeup and cleanse our skin. Thankfully the Simple Micellar Cleansing Water and Pond’s Wet Cleansing Towelettes have made it super easy to remove makeup and cleanse our skin, so there is no excuse not to get it done.
College Beauty Checklist | Lazy Mornings
While we are on the topic of laziness/too little time in college, morning showers tend not to happen. Let’s face it. Staying up late studying (ahem, partying) leaves us so tired that you sleep all the extra time away and find yourself waking up with just enough time to get to class. Your hair is probably a mess, but rock it out with some Dove Dry Shampoo (my personal fave) and a messy bun and you will have an effortless look that is on trend.
College Beauty Checklist | Shower Time
A few things you do want to have with you in your shower caddy as you pad off to the bathrooms are shampoo, conditioner, body wash, and shaving necessities.
Suave Professionals Almond and Shea Butter Shampoo and Conditioner is a great option, and awesome that it comes in a 2 pack at Target.
One of my favorite body washes is the Caress Fine Fragrance Love Forever Body Wash. It smells UH-MAZE-ING and the scent lingers on your skin all day.
Schick Hydro Silk razors paired with Skintimate Rasberry Rain shave gel are a power couple. I remember using that shave gel all the way back since I was in high school, and I don’t even wanna talk about how long ago that is! LOL
Finish up caring for your body with Vaseline Cocoa Butter Lotion! It is highly moisturizing and the light scent is comforting.
All of the things I mentioned in my college beauty checklist are easily picked up at your local Target. You should take this really awesome online personality quiz that will help you discover personal care regimens, as well as allow you to form a customized list of products that fit closely to your everyday needs. Stand out this school year with hair, skin and face by trying out different Unilever and Edgewell personal care products from Target!
Tell me in the comments below: What are some of your necessities for skin, body, and hair?
