You gotta admit. MAC’s newest collection has a fun name. Vibe Tribe is a great idea. The desert seems to be a trendy topic these days. I have seen endless posts on Instagram of fashion bloggers posing in the desert, and I am partly thinking that is due to the recent music festivals. The colors in this collection radiate that perfect summer vibe and I am totally feeling it.
Sound and self-expression converge in the vast canvas of the desert. Lose control and imagine yourself in lips painted reckless shades of red and coral, or a flash of gold. Let your eyes escape reality in teal, cobalt, mandarin and charcoal, as free-spirited nails glisten in succulent tangerine and the perfect, buttery nude. Abandon control in online-exclusives Rio Grande Romance and Painted Canyon. Feel the vibe.
The two Patent Polish Lip Pencils I have are in the shades Caravamp and Desert Evening. Caravamp is a beautiful orange toned red. It is one of the prettiest summer shades I have seen in a while. I love that it is in the Patent Polish Lip Pencil formula because it is semi-sheer, glossy, and feels extremely moisturizing. Desert Evening is a clear glossy pencil with a pearl finish. I can see myself using this one most often.
A nice nude pencil is hard to find. MAC hit the nail on the head with the Snowed In Technakohl Liner. This pencil is beautiful in the waterline and even more fantastic as an inner corner highlight. It is beautiful and I am going to be using this A LOT this summer.
The MAC Vibe Tribe collection wasn’t something that immediately spoke to be but I did come around and feel the vibe. It totally got me ready for summer and I am now excited. Can’t wait to rock Caravamp and Snowed In all summer long. You can find MAC Vibe Tribe at maccosmetics.com, Nordstrom, and Dillard’s.
