I have been singing the praises for Tatcha Skincare since August of 2012 in my Secrets of a Geisha post. Before I had ever tried Tatcha products I actually had really problematic skin that was often ridden with breakouts. I knew how to care for my skin and the importance of routine, but I never experienced a harmony of products until I tried everything they offered. They have come out with lots of new things since that first set I tested and the most recent in their line is the Tatcha Balanced Pore Perfecting Water Gel (that you can find here).
Info from Tatcha…
What it is:
This illuminated water gel moisturizer offers ultralight, oil-balancing hydration. Why it’s different:
Features Japanese Wild Rose, Leopard Lily and Dokudami extracts to balance and clarify skin, while visibly tightening pores in 28 days. A dust of 23k gold imparts an exquisite, shine-free glow.Who it’s for:
Ideal for oily skin. Non-comedogenic. Non-irritating. Non-sensitizing. Dermatologist tested.
Because I do suffer from oily skin I tend to go for products that are water-based and lighter on the skin because it feels more comfortable. This water gel is perfect.
The packaging is typical Tatcha packaging. You know… beautiful and chic with gold metal details. *le sigh*
I have actually been putting it on in the morning. I work from home and don’t always venture out into the world so wearing makeup doesn’t feel necessary, but if I do I want my skin to look great and this is all I need to get that glow. I love that it has the dust of 23K gold in it because I do actually see a teeny bit of luminosity on my skin. If I do have to run and errand or two I am usually happy with the way my skin looks and I just through on some sunglasses and voila! In case you are looking for suggestions on new sunglasses check out my latest post on ones from Frame Boutique.
Overall I am a big fan of this stuff and I only started using it. I know that my love for it will only grow, just like it has with so many of their products. A few of my other suggestions to try are the Camelia Cleansing Oil and the Deep Brightening Serum.
