Question of the Week: Do you use color correcting complexion products (like powders, primers or concealers)? If so, which ones do you use?
Yes and no… Most of the time I don’t because my basic foundation and concealer cover all the issues I have, but on rare days I do use a different concealer that has red tones to help offset the blue under my eyes.
I do find the recent color correction trend a little overboard. Someone somewhere decided that “color correction” was the next “highlight and contour” so just about every major company really pushed new products in that direction. I do understand that some people honestly rely on color correction to combat their discoloration problems, but I think that this “trend” has caused people to think they need color correction when they really don’t.
