Earth Day is this week so I want to celebrate my incorporating more natural beauty products in my routine and share them with you. One of my favorite kinds of skincare products are exfoliants so I thought I would kick off the week by sharing with you 3 natural facial exfoliants from natural beauty brands. The three I have for you are very different in type and texture but all help slough off the dull skin and let the radiance shine from within!
The first Natural Facial Exfoliant is Farmaesthetics Sweet Milk & Lavender Exfoliate For The Face. This is probably my favorite because I am completely obsessed with these dry powder based exfoliants that you add a little water to and it forms a paste. They are always fairly gentle and always make my skin feel amazing. This one contains dried sweet milk , lavender buds, and fine yellow organic cornmeal. The lavender fragrance in this is light and beautiful. And for those of you that are interested, it is made in Portsmouth, RI and has a storefront in Newport. Newport, RI is probably one of the most gorgeous cities I have ever visited in New England and this exfoliant reminds me of that place to a T. You can also find it on Amazon!
The most interesting natural facial exfoliant I have for you is the Mad Hippie Exfoliating Serum. It is meant to shed dull, damaged skin and discoloration to reveal brighter, smoother skin. The ingredients include Glycolic Acid, Lactic Acid, Apple Stem Cells, Gigawhite, White Tea, Goji Berry, Vitamin C and Ceramide. It is packed full of great ingredients. I love the idea of this serum packing such a big punch because it will enhance the face cream that is applied over top of it. This is also available on Amazon!
Last but not least we have the Jeffrey James Botanicals The Exfoliant which is a radiant complexion scrub. This one is a more traditional type of exfoliant—you would just dab this onto the face and neck, then use circular motions to put it to work. The reason I really like it is because it uses bamboo to heal and tone the skin while aloe vera, essential oils, and raspberries draw toxins out of the skin, and it is high in antioxidants and bio-flavonoids. It is even better that you can buy this natural facial exfoliant at Target.com!
Everyone has their own personal preference as to the type of exfoliant they like to use, so I hope that I have given you some great natural options that will suit yours.
