Sometimes makeup collections come along where a collaboration that is too beautiful to pass on takes place. That is what happened with the MAC x Zac Posen for Spring 2016 collection. The packaging is very simplistic in design, yet still so beautiful. I love the color of the packaging and the heaviness. The solid square shape is also awesome and stands out beautifully. Let’s get to the insides!
After dazzling women with his modern but timeless designs on the runway and red carpet for 13 years, New York designer Zac Posen presents his debut colour collection for MAC. From the iconic packaging to the square-handled contour and buffer brushes that boast the designer’s mark, every loving detail that Posen adorns on the female form takes on new shape for the face.
The Haute Contour palette has a beautiful blush and bronzer shade. The shades are described as matte neutral brown/pink coral with pearl. They are neutral enough to suite a lot of skintones and that blush is just everything!
The pressed transparent powder is perfect. I love transluscent powders but it is hard to find a good one in pressed form and I do believe this is it. I plan on keeping this in my small makeup bag that lives in my purse with a travel kabuki brush and I imagine myself touching up on the go with ease due to the large mirror in the compact itself.
This collection is live on MAC right now but it has been out for a while now so get your hands on it as quick as you can! maccosmetics.com | Nordstrom
