For a neutral lover like me, the MAC Charlotte Olympia collection is one of the most exciting that I have seen in a long time. This collection is one of their larger ones, with the focus being on lips and accessories like brushes. While the entire collection is fabulous I want to really focus on my loves, which are the eyes and cream color bases.
For those of you who are not familiar with the designer, Charlotte Olympia is a luxury shoe and accessories designer inspired by the era of old Hollywood glamour. The MAC x Charlotte Olympia collection has beautiful retro vibes and packaged in amazing printed boxes. If you are a MAC Collector, get ready to hoard #allthethings.
There are two Cream Colour Bases that are $23 each, one matte and one shimmer, and a pigment in “Overdressed” that I am obsessed with that runs you $23. Overdressed is a highly concentrated, loose pearly beige powder used for a wash of colour or intense effect. I think it looks really similar to Naked pigment.
The matte cream colour base is called Sepia and I find that it is PERFECT for contouring. I actually really like it blended onto the eyelid for a beautiful every day look. The shimmer base is called Golden Age which is also perfect as an eyeshadow, but looks extra fancy dabbed on the center of your lips.
I think that you will be happy with this collection but definitely take a look at these cream colour bases and pigment! Find these goodies at maccosmetics.com!
