Hello Fresh! Okay guys. Here is the deal. I love to eat well thought out meals, but I am never inventive enough to think them out. When left to my own devices I fall flat. I often find myself thinking up one part of a meal and then I am pretty indecisive as to what to pair with it so I turn to my husband for advice on what else he wants and he repeats the same old thing time and time again. Another thing also happens pretty often… not having time to go to the grocery store AND/OR going to cook the meal and not having everything I need to complete it in my pantry. I have found the answer to all my meal time problems with HelloFresh.
For starters, the package comes delivered all pretty and perfectly divided into each meal. This box in particular included the following meals: Jamie Oliver’s Mega Mushroom & Lentil Curry, Crispy Chicken Parmigiana Salad, and Korean Style Beef Stir Fry.
Not many people know this but I LOVE to watch Jamie Oliver cook. He is a genius and he uses lots of garden foods and it always looks delicious. I couldn’t wait to try one of his recipes for myself and I am glad I got the chance. I probably would have never attempted to create a dish of his own my own and I can’t quite put my finger on it… but I probably would have grabbed the wrong things while I was at the store or maybe not even found it at all. The Mega Mushroom and Lentil Curry worried me at first. I wasn’t sure my husband would like the idea of an all veggie meal and I was really concerned my kids wouldn’t want it. Let me tell you. They devoured it. And my husband took the rest for lunch the next day and said it was even better then. Yep. Winner.
The dish that was a clear and outstanding winner this week is the Crispy Chicken Parmigiana Salad. It was so simple and quick to make and the entire family ate it. My son that moans and groans about EVERYTHING just to hear his own voice actually paid me compliments. WHAT? Yep. I can’t believe it myself folks. Seriously delicious.
After giving HelloFresh a try I can honestly say that I want to continue the service. I have tried other ones in the past and I prefer the setup of this one way more. I like that it comes separated by meal and that the recipes are truly easy enough for anyone to prepare. I would also like to touch on price. Because I fail at meal planning most weeks we end up eating out a lot. The entire box from HelloFresh is less expensive than the cost of feeding a family of 4 in a restaurant once. Think about that!
I think you should definitely try HelloFresh for yourself. Just click this link and use the code Addicted35 to get $35 off of your first box!
