Tory Burch has been one of my favorite brands for as long as I have known about the brand. When they developed a beauty line I was instantly interested, but because the price point is a little higher up there it wasn’t exactly at the top of my list. During the holidays it is easier to splurge due to sales and such so I got my hands on the Tory Burch Pas Du Tout Eyeshadow Palette.
I chose the Tory Burch Pas Du Tout Eyeshadow Palette because the shades are neutral but they have a slight twist with the pretty plummy brown and the charcoal shades. I, of course, am in love with the Tory Burch logo and the fact that it is embossed into each of the individual eyeshadows. That could possibly deter me from using it because I like the way it looks but the texture of the eyeshadows actually outweigh my love of the logo.
The shades in the Tory Burch Pas Du Tout Eyeshadow Palette are muted, though very pigmented and the formula is soft and creamy.
Muted shades are pretty much my favorite. The specific muted shades in this palette are very interesting. Each can hold their own weight in the palette and are a perfect wash on the lid. They also work harmoniously with each other.
I think that the Tory Burch Pas Du Tout Eyeshadow Palette is simple and complex all at once and definitely worth the $60 it costs. If you break it down to cost per eyeshadow it is actually quite comparable to mid-range brands and if we are being honest even some drugstore eyeshadows these days. You can find this palette at Nordstrom and Neiman Marcus.
Question of the Week: If you purchased any beauty products over the holidays (those sales!), how are those products working for you now that you’ve had them for a few weeks?
This was one of the beauty products that I got over the holidays and weeks later I can tell you that I still like it.
