Being a mom can be tough at times. I have two children, one will be 10 years old on Monday and the other is 2. If there is one thing that I have actually learned over the last 10 years is that there are struggles at every age and that no child is the same. So many struggles. But the good definitely outweighs the bad.
When babies are new and very small you think you are going to break them. At least I did. I thought for sure I was going to ruin my baby with every little decision I made. I learned that they are much more resilient than I thought.
My son never slept through the night. Ever. He was up every few hours. Even though I was overworked, tired, and irritable I actually loved our wee-hour-of-the-morning cuddle sessions while I fed him. My daughter sleeps like a rock, just like me. She slept through the night very early on but during the daytime she is a whirlwind.
As they get a little older, sleepless nights lead to baby-proofing your entire life as they learn to crawl and walk. Just when you think you have every possible accident prevented they learn to get to a whole new level.
These days my main struggle is getting my daughter potty trained. And oh man, the struggle is real.
I guess my main point of this is that there will always be tough times in your life as a parent. There are lots of things that you can do to make things easier and new technologies come out all the time that make your everyday routines so much easier.
A new machine just hit the market that I wish I had around when my daughter was on formula. The Gerber BabyNes not only a machine, but a nutritional system. The Gerber BabyNes was inspired by breast milk and created as an advanced nutrition system bringing six stages of single serve formulas together with a Wi-Fi-connected Machine. It’s a smart way to nourish the greatness in your baby at each stage of development. Definitely check out the BabyNes website for yourself because there is a TON of features of this machine and I am only scratching the surface. Also, find out how to add BabyNes to your registry.
