I think I say this with every large collection MAC Cosmetics releases, but this one is the best one ever. I love my neutral shades and the MAC Faerie Whispers collection has plenty of them. In fact, the entire collection is so neutral AND GORGEOUS that I think everyone will be able to find something they truly love.
MAC Faerie Whispers
Let your innocence roam free. Transcend seasons with charmed hues inspired by the secret, wondrous world of fairies. Eyes flutter impishly in new Foiled Shadows, in luminous wet or dry shades that flicker like morning mist. Feathery pinks for cheeks brighten the day, imbuing you with a spritely glow. Cast a spell with rosy metallics for nails and pearl-lit nudes for lips, spinning glamour ’til the moon turns to sun.
The two shades I have in the Foiled Eyeshadows are Fairy Land and Enchanted Forest. These are both completely perfect and completely me. The Foiled Eyeshadows are meant to be used wet or dry, but I find that even just using them dry is very metallic and perfect. The texture is so sort and buttery. They smooth onto the lid so easily and blend well.
JUST LOOK AT THOSE SWATCHES. No, I didn’t swirl my finger over and over into the product to get that sort of opacity. In fact I like the appearance of the ripples on the eyeshadow surface so I didn’t press hard into the shadow at all in an attempt to preserve the look and still picked up this much pigment. Gorgeous.
The Cheek Pollen Blush is SO ME. Every time I go looking for a blush lately these warm neutral shades are all I am looking for. And this one is so pretty. I would honestly say its like a mixture of a blush and bronzer which is perfect for me because I want to warm up my face and I don’t always have the time to go in with blush, bronzer, highlight, etc.
And the pigmentation is perfection. It is matte, soft, buttery, pigmented. Everything I wanted it to be. The sparkles you are seeing on my hand isn’t from the blush, they are actually from the Softly Lit Cremesheen Glass… Which brings me to the next pieces.
I keep trying to decide which part of the MAC Faerie Whispers collection is my favorite and I honestly want to say it is the lip products even though I LOVE everything I am showing you today. The Softly Lit Cremesheen Glass is a repromote and thank god they brought it back because I missed it the first time. The Among The Fireflies Cremesheen Lipstick is honestly the star of this duo though. It is one of those rosy brown shades that is soooooo perfect.
Let me go on a minute longer about this gorgeous lipstick. The shade is perfect, it had me at hello. As soon as I opened the tube I literally let out a sigh. The color itself is gorgeous but it is also the FABULOUS Cremesheen Lipstick formula, and let’s just face it… The Cremesheen Lipstick formula is superior.
The swatches below L to R are Softly Lit, Among The Fireflies, and then Softly Lit layered over Among The Fireflies.
On my lips is Among The Fireflies with Softly Lit applied in the center. It is perfect you guys. Perfect.

POOF. Seriously. It is that amazing. I think it really truly could be my favorite collection from them in the history of ever.
