MAC comes out with beautiful holiday collections every year and the two sets that are my absolute favorite this year are the MAC Enchanted Eve Essentials Brush Kit and the MAC Enchanted Eve Warm Eyes palette. These two are the standouts from the entire collection this month and I am obsessed.
The MAC Enchated Eves Essentials Brush Kit (found here) comes with a brush pouch and 5 short handle, special edition brushes. The 168SE, 133SE, 239SE, 221SE and 219SE. Immediately I see 3 brushes that I use on a daily basis in this set and that is the 169, 239 and the 219. You can’t ever go wrong with an angled blush brush, flat shadow brush or a pencil brush so this set is UH-MAZE-ING.
The real standout of this year’s holiday stuff is actually the MAC Enchanted Eve Warm Eyes eyeshadow palette (found here). It comes with 6 shades. 3 are on the lighter side and 3 are on the darker side.
The lighter shades are Seasonal Spirit (Velux Pearl), Retrospeck (Luster), and Sax Appeal (satin). Retrospeck is one that is in the permanent line. Even though it is a Luster I think the formulation of the specific shadow in this palette is quite pigmented and not super glittery. My favorite of the 3 lighter shades is Sax Appeal. I think that it is pretty fantastic for the crease area, especially to blend out darker colors or as a transition.
The 3 darker shadows are Mood Maker (Frost), Charcoal Brown (Matte), and Bewitchen’ (Velvet). I have actually been wanting Charcoal Brown for a long long time so I am so happy that it is included into this palette. Mood Maker is STUNNING and I can see myself using this palette non-stop.
