HAPPY BLACK FRIDAY!
Today I want to talk to you about two new products from MAC Cosmetics, the Berry Black Friday Patentpolish Lip Pencil and Rebeleyes Gel Liner. The Berry Black Friday is being released ON Black Friday and is limited edition while the Rebeleyes Gel Liner is already out and is part of the permanent collection.
MAC Berry Black Friday
This is a Patentpolish Lip Pencil which is is basically a chubby stick color balm.
Berry Black Friday is a blackberry lip color that combines the comfort of a balm and sheen of a gloss with buildable colour for more impact. It can be applied very sheer but can also be built up to a pretty bold lip look.
I am actually really liking the packaging, which is like their usual black packaging but with pretty micro sparkle. Very pretty. I also like that the end of the pencil is the same color as the product itself, so if I were reaching for this out of my box and I had more than one in there (which is EXTREMELY possible for me) I would know what it was immediately.
MAC Rebeleyes Gel Liner
This is essentially their gel liner in a pen form. An eye liner that serves up the extreme long-wear of gel liner through a click pen.
It has a twist up pen and while you are twisting up, the product gets dispensed through a hole in the applicator itself.
Because the product is otherwise exposed to the air, the cap actually screws on so that it is air tight and therefore preserving the product itself. I find that I get a thicker line than I would normally do with a liquid liner or a thin brush. I don’t mind it because using Rebeleyes has actually made me a lot more adventurous with the thickness of my wing.
If you would like to see all of this in action, then check out my YouTube video where I talked a little bit about the product and I am actually wearing both products!
You can pick these products up at MAC stores or online at MACCosmetics.com. You can actually find the Rebeleyes Liner at Nordstrom, as well. So tell me in the comments below: Do you love winged liner and berry lips? I DO!!!
