I just want to preface this post by warning you that there are like a billion photos of this palette inside. I am so in love with it and have been smitten with it for so long that I after I looked at all the photos I took of it I couldn’t decide. I have been lusting after the Tom Ford Nude Dip palette for over a year. They brought it back a month or two ago and as SOON as I saw that it was in stock I ordered it without even questioning it. So, get ready. Get set. Oggle photos of Tom Ford Nude Dip.
The shadows have a baked gelee feeling to them. Sort of hard and silky, if that makes sense. When you slide your brush (or your fingertips) over the top of the shades you are left with the most amazing, pigmented swatches ever. The color pay off is unbelievable. They also blend beautifully, which is exactly what you should expect from a luxury eyeshadow quad.
The one swipe finger swatches even transfer beautifully. It is simply amazing. I would also like to mention that the TF embossed into the eyeshadows themselves will last you a little while. This is a picture of it post-swatches and you can see that I didn’t really phase them. They will disappear eventually but you can enjoy them for a while at least. If you enjoy things like that. I do, don’t judge me.
There are two shades in this palette that equap taupe heaven to me and they are caddy-corner to each other. They have a nice champagne shade and chocolate shade to round it out. All four of these shades do have some shimmer, so if you like having a matte in your palettes this may be a no go, BUT the darkest shade is more of a satin than a shimmer so I feel like it anchors it pretty well.
Okay, back to the palette. I told you there were a lot of pictures! LOL
If you are as in love with them as I am you definitely need to bring this baby home. It is a stunner. You can find it at Nordstrom.
Tell me in the comments: Do you swoon over any product in particular? Is there a certain category of makeup that gets you going?
