I participated in an Ambassador Program on behalf of Influence Central for Vanity Fair Lingerie. I received product samples to facilitate my review and compensation to thank me for my participation.
A few weeks ago I told you the secret to finding the perfect bra. Everything I told you in that post was learned during my visit to NYC from the ladies at Vanity Fair and has been incredibly invaluable since I have been trying to do it all on my own since then. Getting measured is really and truly so important. As women, our bodies change drastically during pregnancy, weight gain, weight loss, or during any major life change. Sometimes those life changes happen before we know it and we think to ourselves, “I don’t want to buy another bra because they are so expensive.” I am here to tell you that Vanity Fair bras are actually a lot less expensive to some of the brands I was previously wearing and they actually have sales quite often, like the one I am here to tell you about.
Vanity Fair believes a bra can change a life, and so do I through their wonderful BOGOGO events! During their BOGOGO (Buy One, Get One, Give One) events when you buy one Vanity Fair bra in-store, you get one for yourself for free and Vanity Fair will donate a new bra to Dress for Success on your behalf to help a woman on her journey to economic independence. In case you weren’t aware, Dress for Success is an international not-for-profit organization dedicated to helping disadvantaged women by providing professional attire, a network of support and career development tools to help them thrive in work and in life.
As a women that likes to support other women this is a program that tugs on my heartstrings. First off, a BOGO sale helps the woman that is purchasing the bra. She is investing in herself and I feel like the one she gets for free as a reward for that investment. Vanity Fair went even bigger with BOGOGO and is helping the woman purchasing her bra feel even more empowered by being able to give to someone that needs it. During these BOGOGO events, shoppers will have the opportunity to hand-write a note to encourage and empower, aka “little lifts”, along with the bra they have made possible.
Here are the locations and dates of the BOGOGO events this Fall:
- Kohl’s: Sept. 24 – Oct. 3, 2015
- JCPenney: Oct. 7 – Oct. 12, 2015
- Sears: Oct. 11 – Oct. 17, 2015
