As the weather starts to change so do our hair care routines. The summer is usually hot and humid and creates #allthefrizz but as the autumn months get here the frizz fades away. Fall does happen to come with all of it’s own issues for my hair though, and mostly that is static caused by layering up and such. I have a pretty simple hair care routine and CHI Hair Care has been the key to my hair styling success lately!
So first of all let me tell you my routine and then I will tell you how CHI fits in perfectly. I tend to take showers late at night after I finish doing everything from blog related stuff, Etsy stuff and being a mom. I am usually so exhausted by the end of the day that I just want to hop in the shower, brush out my hair and go straight to bed. That means I wake up with some serious bed head.
When I wake up I usually comb through my hair once more, apply some Dry Shampoo to the roots to add in some oomph and then take my Ultra CHI Tropical Splash Straightening Iron to my hair to tame it a little bit. I personally angle my iron a little bit so that it creates a little flip at the ends of my hair. Adding that little flip gives your gorgeously straight hair a little life and playfulness.
If I want to boost the roots a little bit more I take the tiniest bit of the Spray Wax into my roots and tease it up a little bit. I then finish off my hair my using the Dry Conditioner (Yep, that is right! Dry Conditioner)!to add a healthy shine and then VOILA! Done!
Your hair may not be exactly like mine but the CHI Styling Line Extension line has a lot of great products that can help you achieve whatever it is that you are going for. In the new Styling Line Extension you can find Dry Shampoo, Dry Conditioner, Texturizing Spray, Spray Wax, Reworkable Taffy, Styling Cream Gel, and the Finishing Pomade. I actually get use out of all of it because I LOVE a good Texturizing Spray and my son likes the Reworkable Taffy and my husband loves the Finishing Pomade. Gotta love a line that is good for the whole family!
So tell me in the comments below: Have you tried any of these products? Have you ever heard of a Dry Conditioner before? Me either, but it is really pretty darn amazing.
