Boxycharm has shot up the ranks to be on the short list of my favorite subscription boxes of all time. Seriously, the stuff that comes in these boxes month after month amaze me. Even if I don’t want everything there are at least two things I always love and love hard. For $21 a month you get 4-6 full and luxury size beauty products shipped right to you. The boxes that offer up those foil packets every month just aren’t for me. This month there was 5 full size products and they are all pretty fantastic.

First up is the Nios Shield Leave-In Conditioner. I am not a huge fan of standard conditioner because for the most part I can never seem to get it out of my hair and it sometimes weighs it down so I really rely on an awesome leave-in conditioner to help me out. It contains argan oil, vitamins B & E AND has SPF15!
The Mica Beauty Cosmetics Gel Liner is sooo inky black and long lasting. In fact, I swatched it on my hand and have washed my hand four times before it finally came off without any traces. I LOVE that in a liner because my lids are so oily I can never usually get anything to stay for long. The Seta liner brush is perfect for it because its such a fine line and it makes perfecting the “flick” so easy.
So Susan Statement Skin in Star Light is SO AMAZING. It is basically your key to strobing in a stick form. It is easy to use: just glide it across your forehead, down the centre of your nose and on your chin, and blend for a beautiful glow. The chiselled tip helps you to cover large areas of the face, or target small pinpoint ones (like your cupid’s bow), all without using a brush! Just wait til you see the full on swatch of this baby!
The most metallic highlight and the blackest black gel liner. Amazing if you ask me. I think I could be most impressed with these two things right here.
BUT then there is the Revealed 3 palette. These palettes have been so popular but I haven’t managed to get my hands on any of them until now. Just opening the palette made me kind of giddy because the color selection is great with neutrals and purple tones. There are a few shades in the palette that are skin-tone and matte, there are great transition shades and there are a few that are just stars of the show.
As soon as I saw this in person I was extremely impressed. You can just see the quality immediately. Like, without even needing to touch it. But who could resist touching it?
So… the shadows are extremely soft. That does mean there is a little bit of product that kicks up/falls out but that is true with lots of higher end palettes that have the same pigmented and creamy powders.
Swatches of the first half of the top row. This is where the key to tying the whole palette together lie. All the neutrals and mattes. These shadows are what needs to be in most palettes just to make the palettes themselves work as a stand-alone.
Swathes of the second half of the top row. Sooooo sorry it is blurry. I kick myself for that. You still get a great idea of the shadow. These shades are your pinks/red/burgundy shades. I could have used this a couple weeks ago when I did my BBHMM makeup look.
First half of the bottom row. These are the pretty purple tones that I love. And look at that pretty taupe over there on the end!
Second half of the bottom row. These in particular are where my favorites lie. I LOVE the center shade in these swatches. I actually love the one on the far right and the purple one. So pretty.
So, this box retails for $21 and and the products included retail for over $130. Such an incredible value for the money. And each box you get delivered packs a big punch, not just this one. Go to Boxycharm.com.
