Question of the Week: What’s your favourite highlighter?
The answer to this question is a lot more complicated for me. I have lots of favorites. And they are all favorites for different reasons. Let me take you through a few…
theBalm Mary-Lou Manizer – I have actually had this in my makeup stash for 4 years or so… It is a high shine powder that actually looks like a liquid in some instances. I have used it as an inner corner highlight as well because it is so perfect and really highly pigmented. This one is so shiny that it is popular for the new “trend” that everyone seems to be jumping on which is strobing. Strobing = over highlighting. haha FIND IT HERE!
NARS Copacabanna Illuminator – If you are looking for a pearlescent pink liquid highlighter then this is your guy. It is a beautiful consistency, dries fast, and looks good all day. I like that it is a liquid but doesn’t make your face feel sticky. it actually dries down and feels like a powder. FIND IT HERE!
Guerlain Meteorites – This will fall under the most subtle of highlights. I actually use Teint Beige Meteorites as a setting powder for my face in some cases. I think that if you are looking for one of those oh-so-gentle highlights then this one is perfection. FIND IT HERE!
Rouge Bunny Rouge Sea of Tranquility – It is hard for me to pinpoint exactly what makes this one so special. It just is. The formula is really thin, it dries fast. its complex for something that looks like a white-ish highlight. I am in love with it. OBSESSED I tell you. FIND IT HERE!
MAC Soft and Gentle MSF – This is another highlighter that I have had in my collection for eons. I still haven’t ran out of my very first one, which is amazing with the amount of times I go into it. It is a beautiful subtle highlight and looks really chic. FIND IT HERE!
Maybelline Master Hi-Light in Nude – This is a great drugstore option for highlighting. It is technically a highlighting blush but if you try to concentrate in running your brush over the shimmery parts you will come out with a beautiful pinky-nude highlight. FIND IT HERE!
L’Oreal True Match Lumi Powder Glow Illuminator – There are a lot of shades in this line, and I have two. They are really pretty and I think that you wont go wrong with any of them! FIND IT HERE!
