If you know me AT ALL you will know that I am particularly addicted to Target and I have been since I was in high school. Something about shopping at Target just relieves all my stresses and makes me feel whole again. Dramatic? Maybe a little, but it is really the truth. Whether I am raiding the Dollar Spot or perusing the beauty aisle a feeling of complete euphoria comes over me and I am just in my element. It is really one of the only places on earth that can do that to me. Also, gotta love a store that has a coupon app like Cartwheel.
So, I went into the store because I check my Cartwheel app every Sunday when the offers change and get added. I like to see what the new deals/coupons are and I was looking and saw they were offering 5% off on Neutrogena and Aveeno Hand and Body products as well as 10% off of Neutrogena makeup. I had my eye on a few of the new Neutrogena blushes and the eyeshadow quads that have built in primers so I added the deals to my Cartwheel and went to the store.
Adding stuff to your cart is super easy: find the deal, click add and it will show up under the “My Cartwheel” section.
Anyway, some of the things I picked up were the Aveeno Daily Moisturizing Body Wash. This stuff smells super clean and fresh. I have bought this over and over again because it isn’t an overly feminine scent and my husband likes that. It also makes my skin feel amazing. If you have never tried it, you need it in your life.
The first thing I picked up from Neutrogena is the Norwegian Formula Hand Cream. I reviewed it a while back and fell in love because it is SO hydrating, feels good on the skin and is really inexpensive. I bought the Body Oil because I have heard that the scent on the original one is heavenly. I had one before but it was fragrance free, so be careful if you pick this up for yourself and get the one that does have a mild scent to it. Also, couldn’t resist the Nourishing Long Wear Eye Shadow + Built-In Primer quad. I got the one in Soft Taupe (obviously because I am a taupe addict) and I can’t wait to use it. The shade range in it seems perfect for everyday wear or even a pretty deep smoky eye.
I also raided the dollar spot like the #planneraddict I am. I got some sticky notes, mechanical pencils and note cards. I also picked up some Listerine Floss because it was on offer with Cartwheel, too. Check out my video on YouTube for details on all the goodies I picked up!
Do you currently use Cartwheel? What was the most recent thing you picked up at Target? I love hearing about what people are getting so this should be fun!
