I participated in a Influencer Activation on behalf of Influence Central for RoC Skincare. I received product to facilitate my review and a promotional item to thank me for my participation.
Yesterday I talked to you about my daytime skincare routine, but I am really excited about the changes I have made to my p.m. skincare routine. I mentioned yesterday that my skin has been looking dull and ragged and yes, I have noticed more and more wrinkles as time goes on. That scares me the most. I do understand that aging means wrinkles, but I try to remind myself that it also means I am smarter, more experienced and I am who I am today because of all the crazy things I have gotten into through the years!
I am happy to be a 30-something, but I definitely want to keep my skin looking as good as possible. I like to keep my skincare routine fairly simple but I also like those easy products to pack a punch. The RoC products I have been using before bed are really impressive.
The RoC Retinol Correxion Eye Cream contains a combination of pure retinol and an essential mineral complex, so it addresses all of the fine lines around my eyes. I think my main priority in my anti-aging skincare routine is focused on the eyes. The one area of my face that has been aging the fastest seems to be my eyes so I am extremely desperate to save them. I have to say that I am really enjoying this so far. Eye creams that contain retinol are okay by me!
The RoC Retinol Correxion Deep Wrinkle Night Cream is like the eye cream in the sense that it contains pure retinol and an essential mineral complex. I love that it does all the “heavy lifting” of the wrinkles while I am sleeping; I feel like I actually accomplished something while doing nothing! I have actually noticed small infinite improvements that only I would see in myself in the last week or two of use. Isn’t it funny how we can nitpick the smallest detail that not even our significant other would ever in a million years notice? Anyway, I have seen small improvements and I can’t wait to see the difference in my skin from start to finish of this tube.
Speaking of wrinkles, I recently learned that RoC® Skincare and Sperling’s Best Places performed a meta-analysis that allowed them to essentially rank each state’s “Wrinkle Index”. They way they went about getting the results is actually a very complex system, but I was immediately intrigued and needed to know about the states I have lived. I was born in Mississippi but I have lived in Virginia, Tennessee, Florida and now Washington.
Let’s see how the states I have lived in rank…
Mississippi –> 31
Virgina –> 19
Tennessee –> 8
Florida –> 32
Washington –> 49
WOW… So the place that I am currently living is only 2 spots away from ranking as the least wrinkle-prone state. I think that is actually pretty cool! I am hoping that living here + these RoC products will put me on the right path! Definitely check out the brand for yourself, you can pick them up in Target stores!
