Who here likes to get social? Social media is booming and everyday hundreds of people are signing up for their favorite accounts, whether it be Instagram,Twitter, Pinterest or Facebook. There is one thing that all of these social media networks have in common and it is PICTURES! The convenience of sharing pictures straight from your phone is fantastic and with the rate that smartphones are advancing lots of people have actually ditched buying the best new camera on the market and have gone straight for their phones. Another question that a ton of people have is how do they make their pictures gorgeous like the #InstaFamous? It is all in the photo editing apps. Here are a few of the best smartphone photo editing apps to edit my smartphone pictures so that they are perfect for social media.
I would like to first start out by saying that you should always take your photos in a well-lit space and avoid using your flash. The temptation to use flash is real, but all it really does is cast glares and shadows that ultimately leave you with a mediocre picture. What you probably want to do is add some light into your photos and you can do that with apps. You can adjust the brightness right on Instagram or you can use other apps to do it.
The first one I really like is Aviary. It is actually made by Adobe and if you have an Adobe account you can sync your photo editing supplies to Creative Cloud and restore anytime from any device. In it you can touch up blemishes, apply professional effects, add stickers or frames, and it even features a drawing tool so that you can add your own words or draw pictures. You can crop, rotate pictures, and flip them too!
Another great one is VSCOcam. In this one you can apply filters and adjust exposure. This one has come highly recommended lately from bloggers all over. It is simple with no-frills but its great.
Snapseed is another app that has been getting a lot of attention lately and with good reason. It allows you to auto adjust for instant fixes, create depth and vibrancy, fine tune brightness, etc. It also allows you to crop, rotate, transform, and add filters.
Those are the three apps that I enjoy the most but there are still a TON of them out there for you to explore. You should absolutely get yourself the best smartphone on the market and I recommend AT&T to do so. For a limited time, customers who switch to AT&T and buy any smartphone on AT&T Next receive $300 in credits: a $100 bill credit + a $200 instant credit or AT&T promotion card! On top of getting the credits from AT&T you can use ShopAtHome to get cash back for your online purchase? So, money back from ShopAtHome AND $300 in credits from AT&T!?!?! Yes please!
