Rouge Bunny Rouge has been one of my favorite brands for years. If you want to read some of my older reviews and things CLICK HERE and it will take you to a page where you can see it all. Today I want to show you some new (to me) products and tell you what I think of them. Today I have 3 Glassy Gloss shades, 1 Sheer Lipstick in Perfume of His Gaze, 1 Long Lasting Lip Pencil, Vera Eye Kohl, and the Eyes Wide Open Brightening Liner Duo! So let’s get right into it.
I will start out with the eye products.
The Rouge Bunny Rouge Eye Kohl in Vera is a gorgeous purple-blue… so blurple? HAHA It is actually a seriously dark deep blurple so it almost gives of a blacked look. It applies easily and is easy to blend. Once it sets it is going to stay put wherever it is, and sort of leaves a slight stain to the skin, which I find quite helpful actually because I have a lot of trouble getting any eye pencil to stay on my eyes so I consider these a huge win.
The Rouge Bunny Rouge Eyes Wide Open Brightening Liner Duo is nothing short of magnificent. I love that it has a white shimmery side, and a matte pink side. I have used products like this in the past and I actually really enjoyed them. The whitened pink shade is perfect for really adding a wide awake look. I like to apply it to the inner corner of my eye when I don’t want a lot going on and sometimes right under the brow bone. The shimmery white shade is also a gorgeous highlight for both the same areas, but is a bit more noticeable. Nothing wrong with that at all though. lol
As for lip products, Rouge Bunny Rouge absolutely knows what they are doing.
I have three shades of their Glassy Gloss. L to R is Mousse Fandango, Rhubarb Custard, and Fleur Parfait. These glosses are pretty pigmented, creamy and not sticky. The lasting power is pretty good too. You can see the Mousse Fandango shade in my recent video, Subtle Luminous Foundation Routine, how it applies. I wore it for a couple hours with no fading or anything but I do need to note that I didn’t eat or drink anything during that time.
Mousse Fandango is a rosy mauve that has some micro shimmers in it. At first glance you will think they are silver but when you really inspect it you can notice some slight pink and blue sparkles as well. Don’t think that this is going to be some glitter ball on your lips because it absolutely is not. It just looks like a glossy creme lip color on the lips. Rhubarb Custard is a peachy pink creme with no shimmer. Fleur Parfait is a muted rosy mauve that also has micro shimmers in it, though they are less prominent than the Mousse Fandago shade so essentially barely noticeable ata ll.
The Rouge Bunny Rouge Sheer Lipstick in Perfume of His Gaze is a gorgeous luminous creme beige. It applies beautifully and I think it may be my new favorite nude shade.
Here are all the swatches, from L to R: Brightening Eye Duo, Vera Eye Kohl, Perfume of His Gaze, Fleur Parfait, Rhubarb Custard, Mousse Fandango, and the Long Lasting Lip Pencil in Mapko.
I actually gushed over these goodies in a recent video that you can check out here.
All of these products are to die for and I really recommend trying them for yourself!
