Have you ever had one of those days that you feel like you are lacking confidence? Maybe you are bloated, maybe something happened that tore you down a little bit, or maybe you are just super tired and self-conscious for no good reason at all… When I am having days like that there are a few things that I do that really help me feel a little better. Sit back and relax as I share with you 5 ways to boost confidence.
{one} Conceal don’t feel. When I haven’t had enough sleep or my discoloration is on a whole new level it can really effect my confidence level. I know it is superficial, but applying a little concealer really changes the way I interact with the world.
{two} Lip lover. What is it about a pretty lipstick? I don’t care if I am mad, sad, or nervous… Dabbing on my favorite lipstick is the quickest way to pick me up and an ULTIMATE confidence booster.
{three} Updo to the rescue. For me, my hair is usually down and frumpy. When I take a minute to style my hair I am usually so pleased with the outcome. My favorite way to wear my hair is up because I think it is super classy and chic. It is like the “power do”. I feel like I can take on the world when I have the right hairstyle.
{four} Fine fragrances. The power of scent is mind-blowing. Certain fragrances transport me to my childhood and some remind me of my teenage best friend. Whether it be an actual perfume or fresh cut peonies, scents have a BIG impact on our emotions. There are a handful of fragrances that mentally transform me from kitten to a lion. Tell me, what animal is more confident than a lion?
{five} Prepare for the worst. Knowing that I am prepared for something that I have no control over like LBL (light bladder leakage) makes me hold my head a bit higher. I can laugh, cough, sneeze and move comfortably without worrying about having an accident. I love Poise Thin-Shape pads for this because they aren’t bulky yet they are made of super absorbent material. The Thin-Flex® design offers extraordinary protection in a thin and flexible pad to help you manage leaks with confidence. Get your self a free sample so you can see for yourself!
Tell me in the comments below, what are some things you do that boost your confidence?
