I created my Poise Thin-Shape pads as part of a sponsored post for Socialstars #RecycleYourPeriodPad
This time of the year I always get into the mood to do some “spring cleaning”. Yes it is still spring, but it is almost summer so I like to clear away the clutter in my health and beauty routine as well as switch out my “most used” drawer for more summery options. I always get a feeling during the warmer months to stop hoarding all the things and be a little more carefree and that is apparent not only in my makeup routine, but life in general. I usually downsize to a smaller purse, clean out my cabinets in my bathroom to get rid of excess junk, as well as re-evaluate some of the many routines that rule my life. So I decided to create a This For That Summer Edition so you can see what I am swapping out.
I like to clear all of my muted, rosy toned blushes out and replace them with bright ones. When the weather is warmer our our cheeks tend to have a little more color naturally so it makes sense that the blushes we choose match. You can also look at this choice in a different perspective, a “less is more” approach.
During the winter months I like to keep my entire skin routine more on the matte side. It seems to match the season more since the weather is a big more dry. During the summer I love seeing dewy skin and a little more of a sheen so I like to swap out my matte bronzers for ones that have a slight sheen.
For the eyes I like to wear less eyeshadow and opt for a really gorgeous winged liner with lashes. Both of these options are great for all year round, but I find that during the summer my eye lids get a little more oily so I tend to wear less eyeshadow as a result.
During the winter I love wearing a lipstick and layering a lip gloss on the top but I find that I am a one-stop-shop lippie girl during the warmer months so I tend to choose a liquid lipstick or even a tinted lip balm more when its warm out.
Remember how I said that I like to simplify my routines? I dediced recently that I didn’t need to lug around a thick pad and a panty liner in my purse anymore since Poise Thin-Shaped Pads can easily take the place of both. Because I suffer from light bladder leakage as well as my regular feminine issues I am actually solving 3 problems at once. Poise Thin-Shape pads have me covered for LBL, regular period pads and even panty liners because the new Poise Thin-Shaped pad is 40% thinner than the original Poise pads.
The Poise Thin-Shaped pads are designed to move with your body so I personally think they are super comfortable. The new Poise Thin-Shape pads feature Thin-Flex® design for fantastic protection in a thin and flexible pad. Knowing I don’t have to worry about leakage gives me a lot confidence. You can find SAM (Super Absorbent Material) in the full line of Poise products, which are designed specifically for light bladder leakage and stay 3x drier than period pads and liners. Get your self a free sample so you can see for yourself!
So tell me in the comments below, what kind of things do you do when you “spring clean” to simplify your life?
