Today was a particularly gloomy day here in WA so I decided to pull out some bright pretty things and make a romantic eyeshadow look. The Lorac Alter Ego Eyeshadow Palette in Heartbreaker is GORGEOUS. There are 10 eyeshadows inside and they are actually fairly neutral in contrast to the BRIGHT PINK packaging.

Instantly transform your eyes with the LORAC Alter Ego Eye Shadow Palette in Heartbreaker. This alluring, vibrant palette is loaded with an array of fun, flirty and wearable shades to keep him mesmerized. Whether you’re a Free Spirit by day or a Heartbreaker by night, you can achieve any look you desire with this seductive blend of shades. Embrace your every identity and dress up your eyes with LORAC!
So let’s take a peen at the shades inside the pallete. The first four shades from left to right are my favorite. There is a midi brown shade, a frosty pink, a metallic purple with a hint of pink, and a gorgeous bronzy brown. Go ahead and take a minute to DROOL over the finishes of these four eyeshadows. Wow.
The other half of the top row contain shades that I don’t TYPICALLY go for being blues and silvers, BUT that metallic navy shade is EVERYTHING. It makes me want to do something crazy and incorporate this. Be on the lookout to see if I can come out of my comfort zone to make that happen. The darkened brown shade on the end is really pretty and almost has some iridescence to it. I have it on my lower lash line in the look below.
The bottom row in the palette are made up of the highlight shades. There is a cream colored matte highlight and a frosty white.
Everything swatched out side by side. You can see how GORGEOUSLY the finger tip swatches transferred over to my arm. I am obsessed, yall!
And this is the look I came up with. I started out with the midi brown shade all over the lid and then decided that wasn’t really what I wanted so I patted the bronzy brown shade all over the lid. I applied the purple shade on the outer v and blended the crease with the frosty pink. The dark brown shade on the far right is what I have on my lower lash line and you can see that there is a little something extra in it that doesn’t come up in the swatches. I used the frosty white as an inner corner highlight and I have to say that I am really happy with how it turned out. To see full face shots check out my Wedding Hair For Inverted Bob tutorial!
I am a big fan the Lorac Alter Ego Heartbreaker palette and I encourage you to give it a try. Though the outer shell of the packaging is NEON the colors inside are EXTREMELY wearable and downright sultry. You can grab it for yourself for a whopping $24 at Ulta!
