You all know that I am a HUGE fan of Tarte Cosmetics and I called the Tarte Tartelette palette the IT palette of the year. Well… I may have gotten that wrong because I am SERIOUSLY impressed with the Tarte Poppy Picnic Palette. It is neutral, it includes a blush and the packaging is to die for.

The palette is broken up into two looks (sort of) but you can most definitely use whatever combination of shades you want. The left side of the palette offers a little bit of a more classic shade range with a light, midi, and dark arrangement as to where the right side of the palette played on blush tones that are more muted, but still pack a punch. The blush shade is a perfect shade to go with any look!
The left side of the Tarte Poppy Picnic palette is made up of Summer Breeze, Sweet Tea and Ice Cream Cone. Summer Breeze is a light cream, Sweet Tea is a nice midtone brown. Ice Cream Cone is a rich, dark chocolate shade.
The right side of the Tarte Poppy Picnic palette is made up of Barefoot In The Grass, Peach Poppy, and Picnic Basket. Barefoot In The Grass is a tad bit dirty of the cream family, hence the name suggests. Peach Poppy is just that, a perfect peach. Picnic Basket is a deep wood shade, and really does remind me of a picnic basket.
The blush is none other than the super popular shade, Glisten. I think I own 4 of these now! haha
When swatched out beside each other it just makes my heart melt. It is a nice warm/neutral palette that has a nice range of shades that will take you all the way through the spring, summer and honestly are very suitable for fall and winter as well. I love that there are anchor shades like the super light cream shade to the very dark brown.
Inside the box you get an insert that walks you through how to create two very distinct looks. One being super light and friendly for daytime and one being a deep and sexy smoky eye.
If you haven’t gotten your hands on the Tarte Poppy Picnic Palette yet then you MUST try it. I THINK the Sephora sale may still be going on, so try there first!
I am obsessed with the Tarte Poppy Picnic palette and will likely be creating a tutorial using it very soon. Tell me in the comments below: Should I recreate one of the looks from the insert or create something completely new?
