The weather is changing and for some reason the spring and summer seasons just scream a peachy pink tonal makeup extravaganza. Peachy Pink is obviously wonderful all year long but specifically during the summer I like to go a little overboard and do peachy pink on every last detail. Eyes, lips, cheeks, nails… all of it. MAC Cosmetics Spring 2015 launches have been GREAT. Today I am sharing with you the MAC Philip Treacy Blush Pink High-Light Powder, MAC Is Beauty Pearl Blossom Beauty Powder, and MAC Is Beauty On The Scene Cremesheen Glass.

So first up is the MAC x Philip Treacy release. In case you aren’t familiar with Philip Treacy, he is actually a hat designer in London! Blush Pink High-Light Powder (link) is just beautiful. I love the detail in the embossment and the silver shimmery details resting in the dips. Obviously the silver is just an overspray that wont be there throughout the entire powder but it really is like icing on a oh-so-perfect cake.
Moving on to MAC Is Beauty! This was a huge collection that had a lot of pieces. I was dying to get my hands on the Pearl Blossom Beauty Powder (link), which is a light pink with silver pearlized pigments. If you have never had a Beauty Powder, they are a silky-soft “beauty” powder that’s delicately tinted and luxuriously pearl. They go on as an ultra-fine shimmering “veil” to the skin. Can be applied as a highlight, soft blush or overall finish. Pearl blossom is pigmented enough that it can be worn as a blush but also light enough that darker skin tones could do some highlighting. Gorgeous.
The MAC Is Beauty collection also produced the On The Scene Cremesheen Glass. (link) I am a HUGE fan of Cremesheen Glass as a whole, I love the look of creamy looking lip gloss because they are so versatile. This one is no different. On The Scene is a gorgeous pale peach that will suit just about everyone.
You can see in the swatches below that Blush Pink is just about the same color as my skin, but still great for highlighting the high points of my face because of the sheen. Pearl Blossom has that gorgeous silver shimmer running through that you can’t help but love. On The Scene is that perfect peachy pink for nude lip lovers.
