Bite Beauty has become a brand that is my favorite for all things lips. I raved about the Agave Lip Butter in my 5 Product Makeup Look post and the Matte Creme Lip Crayons, so it is no surprise really that I find these equally amazing. Here is my full review and swatches!
The idea behind Bite Beauty Butter Cream Lipsticks is to have a full like of creamy universal nude and neutral shades. To achieve the creamiest lipstick, BITE developed a technique to hand cut each bullet, removing the outer waxy layer to expose each lipstick’s impossibly creamy core. Infused with five nourishing, aromatic butters, including lavender, shea, almond, pomegranate, and chamomile, this hand-cut and flat tipped bullet delivers portable, easy application in a range of universal, wearable nudes and neutrals that leave a silky finish. These lipsticks are so pigmented while simultaneously being extremely moisturizing. It feels GREAT on and lasts for so long.
Can we talk about the packaging for a minute? I love the weight of the actual tube and the caps are magnetic so they stay safely in place when you have them in your handbag. Have you ever had a lipstick cap come off in your handbag? It isn’t pretty.
The two shades that I am deeply in love with are Caramel and Moka!
Caramel is described as a fleshy nude. To me it is a nude that doesn’t wash me out because there is a touch of pink and a little warmth.
Moka is described as as a warm dark brown, but I think it has the perfect amount of red to make it an modern take on the 90’s lip trend.
Overall, I think that anyone will be able to find a shade they love the most in the Bite Beauty Butter Cream Lipstick line. I now want to try a few more. Look for these in my upcoming videos on my YouTube channel. For now, check these out for yourself at your local Sephora stores!
