Spring has sprung and all I can think to myself is, “How am I supposed to get all the things done?” I sound like a broken record, I know, but I just moved from FL to WA and life has just gotten insane. The move alone had me in some serious downtime and added like 5 times my normal workload into my daily activities. I need to unpack boxes, do something with the unpacked boxes, organize an ENTIRE HOUSE all over again, keep up with daily work, and get medical and school records situated with the family. I just want to go outside and pick flowers and play ball with my children but my mind is so cluttered that I find ordinary tasks taking 4 times longer than it should. So I decided to use the HP Envy 15 with RealSense to help me organize my life. It is pretty cool in general, too!
Yes, I am getting organized and this awesome machine is helping me but it also has a lot of really cool features! Not only has the HP Envy 15 with Intel Realsense kept my children happy with tons of kid-friendly games, but it is also extremely advanced with 3D imagery and 3D printing (with a 3D printer, of course). I am still learning how to use these options and I am sure I will be back with some really cool print-ables as soon as I get the hang of it.
This computer has BeatsAudio built right in so you can use it to watch TV and movies online and have amazing sound!
Gesture control as been a really fun way to play with the computer and really kind of surreal. Using RealSense apps you can control the movement on your screen by using your hands! It feels so “space age”!
I do video chats with some of my blogging buddies on a semi-regular basis and the HP Envy 15 with Intel RealSense allows me to change my background while on the video conference. I can pretend to be anywhere while video conferencing with clients, or friends and family. I think that is awesome if you have to do a last minute client call and need to not show some clutter in the background. Just something to think about.
Definitely check out all the Intel RealSense apps at https://appshowcase.intel.com/en-us/realsense
As much as I LOVE advanced technology there is just something about putting pen to paper that makes my heart soar. Luckily these worlds collided for me and the result is organization! I created a girly, whimsical Week At A Glance layout for my planner. I feel like if I can get a snapshot/bigger picture of my week and break up my to do list into daily tasks I can actually utilize my time more wisely and get a lot more done.
It will fit a personal size agenda (size 3.75×6.75). You just have to print it, cut it down to size (both pages print on one standard letter size piece of paper) and then punch it. I am sure all of my fellow planner addicts have all of the tools needed to do this at home, so have fun!
