I am fairly OBSESSED with the brand new NARS All Day Luminous Weightless Foundation. Not only is it gorgeously packaged but the claims are sort of amazing. A weightless foundation that can build to full coverage with just ONE DROP? WHAT? I don’t know about you, but I normally use 2-3 pumps of my foundation to get the look I am going for. So this is the full review and swatches of the NARS All Day Luminous Weightless Foundation.
NARS says:
Full, natural-looking coverage with unexpectedly weightless, 16-hour wear. Highly pigmented and perfectly balanced, this breakthrough formula builds and blends effortlessly with just one drop—the result of exclusive innovation uniquely designed to deliver long-wearing full coverage, weightlessly. Shake, pump and blend in sections for complete coverage that’s completely natural looking.
Like I mentioned before, NARS claims this will give you full, natural looking coverage with just one drop of foundation. I have been using just my fingers to apply this and work from the center of my face outwards. I am amazed that the claim is real. This one drop of foundation is completely pigmented and the consistency is think enough that I can work this all over my face (in sections, blending as I go) and I achieve the nicest medium to full coverage affect. I am experiencing breakouts right now and NARS All Day Luminous Weightless Foundation did a FANTASTIC job at canceling out the redness. It also evened out my discoloration. It isn’t drying and it isn’t overly hydrating. I think that this foundation could really appeal to the masses.
Can we just talk a minute about the gorgeous packaging. The frosted glass bottle with very little writing. The fact that there is a pump to make getting the foundation out of the bottle easy. The chic-ness of the matte top of the bottle that is the same rubbery plastic finish as most of the line. It is a thing of beauty, people!
