Christmas is finally over and we are now into the New Year. I don’t know about you but my family and I have had a lot of down time lately and it is so nice. The hustle and bustle is over, FINALLY! So, what do I do with all this extra free time? I have been playing with this Pocket Avatar app for a week or so. It is actually really cool. It is an app that has a ton of avatars to choose from that mimics your facial movements and records your voice. So basically, you become animated!
With this app you can make fun animated videos to send via text message to your BFF or spouse. I even made one and tweeted it! I have a feeling that before you know it I will own all of the free avatars! Just because I like to play and Raegan sees something on the screen and calls it by name. When I was scrolling through all of the free avatars she saw the dolphin and elatedly screamed, “FISSSSHHYYY!” while jumping and pointing. Had to get it, right? I also bought a unicorn for that very same reason.
I am going to show you how to use it, ready? It is as simple as 1, 2, 3…
{one} Download the Pocket Avatar App for iPhone or Android.
{two} Scroll through the avatars and pick the one you want. When you download it you will see the action on the below left. There are tons of free ones to choose from!
{three} Go into “My Avatars” and choose the one you want to play with!
Yep, it is that simple.
Wanna see it do all sorts of cool things? Just play around with it. When I stick my tongue out, so does he! When I turn my head, so does he! When I wink, SO DOES HE! Amazing!
This app is so easy to use that even my daughter enjoyed it, and she is only 19 months old. She probably can figure more out about this app than I can, to be honest. How do kids just know all the things these days?
Like I said before, you will probably see me using the Pocket Avatar app on Twitter and Facebook and NO DOUBT I will be texting and emailing my avatar videos to all of my friends. I dare you to tweet me to with your avatar! See ya there!
