It is Sunday, so you know what that means! SUNDAY SALA! Marsala has been named 2015 Color of the Year by Pantone and I am here to show you some of my favorite Marsala nail polishes from all over. Some are drugstore, some are high end, but ALL are amazing. That is why I named them The Best Marsala Nail Polish!
I don’t think I went into anything about Marsala in my Inglot Marsala post, BUT I want to add in a little blurb that Leatrice Eiseman, Executive Director at Pantone Color Institute, said.
Marsala enriches our mind, body and soul, exuding confidence and stability. Marsala is a subtly seductive shade, one that draws us in to its embracing warmth. Amen! I am a huge fan of the shade and have been for my entire makeup-loving life.
So lets get right into it!
Essie Bordeaux – Probably hitting the nail on the head above all others is this baby. Essie polishes are one of my very favorite brands of all time, and Bordeaux is just perfect.
JINsoon Audacity – Deep and beautiful. Enough said.
Zoya Liz – Creamy marsala.
Zoya Coco – Sheeny marsala.
SpaRitual Day of Wine and Roses – If you have never tried a SpaRitual polish I don’t know what you are waiting for. The micro sparkles in this one are gorgeous.
Dior Diorette – Yeah… This one is more berry. But if you are seriously cool toned it would be a good way to bring in that berry wine hue.
Chanel Pirate – Slightly more of an orange tone. Still a shade of wine.
Pacifica Red Red Wine – The name says it all. Perfection.
Orly Crawford’s Wine – I cannot speak more highly of Orly polishes. They are really spectacular.
Sally Hansen Gel Polish in Wine Stock – Gel nails are the way to go when it comes to long lasting manis. This is a great way to have a marsala mani that lasts and lasts.
OPI Malaga Wine – I am fairly certain that this is one of my first Marsala shades ever purchased. It is love.
Hope you loved this roundup! I loved making it. This really is a shade that I am so excited about. I hope that I can keep my creative juices flowing to do one of these every Sunday! There was actually one other polish that I wanted to put into this post but it is long gone and that is Boris and Natasha. It is my most favorite OPI nail polish ever. I almost never wear it because I am afraid to use it up. If you don’t know who Boris and Natasha are, check out my post all about the nail polish!
Tell me in the comments below: Which polish fits your description of The Best Marsala Nail Polish? If I left something out, LET ME KNOW!
