I get asked what camera I use all the time and I am always happy to announce that I recently purchased a t5i. I have been using the T3i for a couple years now, but I was eager to upgrade and the T5i has all the bells and whistles that I never even knew I needed. Now that I have them I could never go back!
My photos have come a LONG way since I first started this blog over 4 years ago. The first year or so I used some old “whatever” camera and you can totally tell. I eventually upgraded my phone to one that had a really nice camera built in so I started using it for a few months and when I saw that tiny improvement I knew I needed to upgrade again. I went on to buy a digital point and shoot camera with a really nice lens and that lasted me just fine, but when I was pregnant with my daughter (2 years or so ago) I decided that it was time for a DSLR! The amazing, dramatic difference in my photos blows me away. It is almost like there is a completely different person taking them. Not only is the quality of the camera to blame, but having excellent tools also made me really think hard about photo composition and lighting, etc.
I know that some of my family members are currently interested in taking the leap into DSLRs and I absolutely have been recommending the Canon T5i. It is the perfect gift and right now Best Buy has a deal where you can save $150 on the Canon EOS Rebel T5i. Visit Best Buy to learn more. *offer valid 12/7-12/20
This camera makes advanced photography easy and fun, and gives you exceptional image quality, along with a host of features to enhance your creative expression.
• Capture Hollywood caliber full HD video
• Continuous autofocus while taking HD video
• Features an 18.0-megapixel CMOS sensor and a DIGIC 5 image processor to ensure vivid, crystal-clear images.
• The 3″ vari-angle touch screen simplifies navigation.
I would also like to mention that the T5i has a touch screen which makes it so easy to adjust settings while you are in shoot mode. With the T3i, I would have to get out of shoot mode, find a menu and move the up and down buttons to navigate. Don’t take my word for it. Go to Best Buy and play with one yourself! You will be blown away.
