Brows are the backbone and MOST important step in my makeup routine. I have said that so many times here but I really do feel the need to stress it. Without “putting my brows on” my face would look unfinished and, well… unstructured. My brows are not identical and they are gapped. I have blank spots in random areas of my brow as well as places that don’t have hair that grow anymore because of waxing when I was in my teens. I am going to show you some Brow Basics by using The BrowGal products that you can find at Gloss48!
The three products I am showing you are the Skinny Eye Brow Pencil, Eyebrow Gel, and Concealer/Highlighter duo! The Skinny Eye Brow Pencil I am showing here is the one in the Taupe shade. One side of the brow pencil is a one-turn sharpener to create a sharp lead for precision creation of hair like strokes. The other side is a spoolie brush to brush through your brows once filled in and to find their natural shape. The Eye Brow Gel is super nice for those who rely on a brow pencil to shade or darken their eyebrows, the eyebrow gel is a clear gel that will go over the filler and hold the shape and color of your brow. The gel is water and sweat resistant for the everyday person on the move. The double ended concealer/highlighter is the icing on the cake for The BrowGal!
Perfect brows are so easy to create with his line!
{one} Fill in the brows with the pencil.
{two} Brush through brows with the spoolie side of the pencil. This smoothes out the hairs and get them under control as wel as diffuses product for a more natural look.
{three} Apply brow gel to keep those hairs in place and lock in product.
{four} Clean up the area around the brows with concealer and highlight under the brow!
The steps for this easy, perfected brow sound so simple but so many people have never really done anything with their brows. Back when I worked at a Bare Minerals boutique I would make sure to do everyone’s brows. It gave me so much happiness to get people’s reactions to their own brows. Definitely check out The BrowGal at Gloss48! Great stuff!
