I am a big fan of very naturally flattering makeup. I love shades that are very neutral in shade range and that don’t make you look overly made up when you have it all applied. I feel like Laura Mercier does a great job time and time again to help every woman achieve that look. I was once asked to name a brand that represented everything I love about makeup and after careful deliberation I came to the conclusion that it was Laura Mercier. I want to look naturally pretty sometimes, but I also want the products to be high quality and last. You can also get a very sexy but not overly done look with the line. So without me going on and on about a brand that I truly admire, I want to talk to you a minute about the Laura Mercier Portable Colour Palette for Eyes, Cheeks & Lips.
This compact palette features a design that holds the included mini Lip Glacé in limited-edition Rosebud—or any Laura Mercier mini if you choose to swap it out. The palette also includes luxurious cashmere-infused shadows in a natural matte finish that blurs the line between skin and makeup. A lighter tone for under the brow, plus three darker shades allow for a complete day-to-night look and are flattering on all skintones. The dual blush colors make for truly customizable cheeks and the entire palette is enclosed in a compact case with a large mirror and a cheetah-print motif in keeping with Laura Mercier’s wild holiday theme.
It is really beautiful. The entire set up. It includes: 3 x 0.02 oz Eye Colours in Vanilla Nuts, Baroque, Cedar; 0.03 oz Tightline Cake eyeliner in Ground Espresso; 2 x 0.15 oz Second Skin Cheek Colours in Lush Nectarine, Barely Pink; 0.1 oz Lip Glacé in Rosebud!
The swatches are really amazing. Know that the dark shade is actually a cake liner/tightliner… I find that it can also be used as a 4th eyeshadow in the palette. The blushes are AMAZING. I love that this palette offers two shades.
You can see that all of the shades work really well together. I love that these shades look so flattering and natural. They look a tad bit on the warm side, but I am fairly certain that they are neutral enough that some cool toned gals may like it too.
This is me wearing the Laura Mercier Portable Colour Palette. You can see how natural it is. My cheeks aren’t really showing up like they do in real life. I think the natural light is washing them out a little bit.
I love this set on my eyes though. You can see that I managed to get a very pretty wing with the cake liner. In case you aren’t familiar on how to use it, just take an damp angled brush and go into the product.
I hope that you are as big a fan of Laura Mercier Portable Colour Palette as I am. Definitely check it out for yourself. You can find it at LauraMercier.com, Sephora, Macy’s, Neiman Marcus, and Nordstrom. Tell me in the comments below: What is your go-to look?
