I am a huge beauty product lover (as you may have already guessed) but I am also a tech nerd. I have tons of electronics of all kinds. This also plays over into my beauty routine. Right now there is everything on the market (electronically speaking) from tooth brushes to facial cleaners, but I like to kick it old school with some things. I MOSTLY get technical with hair tools, but there is one skincare brush included. Here are my favorite beauty tech tools!
There are so many facial cleansing brushes on the market and the one that I have been using most recently (and loving) is the Michael Todd Soniclear. It is the world’s first antimicrobial sonic skin cleansing system. Anything antimicrobial on my face is good in my book. I have suffered from acne since early teen years and because I am so proactive with cleaning my face I haven’t had any problems with breakouts in a good while now. I have only been able to find it on their own website.
I have been playing with the KISS InstaWave for about 2 weeks. I am a lover of curling wands and this one actually rotates my hair around the wand for me. What is even cooler is that the pieces that stick up actually help keep my hair from getting tangled up. The barrel also twirls so it evenly distributes the heat. Talk about a new found favorite. They have this baby at Target!
My hair is boring and flat to my head. I recently reviewed the Voloom and the proof is right there in those photos. I urge you to head over there and read it all! I am serious… Go there. Now.
In my most recent “How To Fake A Blow Out” tutorial I show you how I use my T3 hot rollers to create a pretty, sleek hair do. It gives the appearance of at least an hour of work being done to your hair when in reality you popped them in in less than 5 minutes and let them do all the work for you. Kinda amazing if you ask me. Check them out for yourself.
I don’t blow dry my hair on a daily basis but when I do I have been turning to the T3 Hair Dryer. This has cut drying time by a TON. I actually blow dried my hair the other day for the first time in about a month and my husband actually said something about my hair. He never comments on my hair. I once cut 10 inches off my hair and he didn’t even notice. This is an older style and I am not sure it is made anymore but definitely look into one for yourself.
My last favorite beauty tech tool is the ghd flat iron in a limited edition cherry blossom design. I have had it for a couple years now and I love it. If my hair is a wreck (and it usually is) and I need to get ready on the fly I turn this on and in less than a minute it heats up and is ready to go. I can straighten my whole head of hair in about 5 minutes. It really is kinda amazing. This style isn’t available, but there are some plain black ones.
I hope you loved hearing about all of my favorite beauty tech tools.
