I am a huge fan of a great eyeliner pencil. To be specific I actually really love retractable pencils. The Edward Bess Black Sea Eye Definition Enhancing Liner Duo is fabulous! Right now it is exclusive to QVC and it comes with two of the duo pencils!
The Edward Bess Black Sea Eye Definition Enhancing Liner Duo defines and highlights all at once. A black kohl liner on one end takes a new approach to achieving perfectly defined eyes, while a light-catching brightening liner on the other end creates an eye-opening effect. Instantly achieve the appearance of younger-looking eyes with this formula infused with botanicals inspired by the Black Sea region.
The black is very sooty and the highlighter end has a pearl finish. When I pick this up, the sooty black just makes me want to create a smoky liner effect. I am going to show you how to use the Edward Bess Black Sea Eye Definition Enhancing Liner Duo to create just that, The Perfect Smoky Eyeliner!
{one} Take the black side of the duo and start smudging it into your lash line. You want to black out all of the spaces between the lashes to give a smokier look.
{two} Line your top lash line.
{three} With a densely packed brush, smudge the liner on the top line to create that smoky effect.
{four} Line the lower lash line as well as the waterline.
{five} Line the upper waterline/tightline. This will also fill in any gaps between lashes as well as really make your eyes look dark and sooty.
{six} Because of all the black we are applying all over the eye it is always a good idea to open it up somehow. Take the highlighting end and draw around the inner corner of the eye to add a little brightness back.
It is super easy to create and I hope you took something away from this tutorial. Even if it is just the fact that the pencil itself is awesome. Tell me in the comments below: What is your go-to eye look?
