I participated in an Influencer Activation on behalf of Influence Central for BAND-AID® Brand. I received product samples to facilitate my review as well as a promotional item to thank me for my participation. #RunWithGlory #MC
Chances are if you have ever been here to my blog before, you probably know that my husband is in the Navy. We are a very patriotic family and are aware of all the support that the brave men and women currently serving and those that have served deserve, but not every one does. BAND-AID® Brand has come out with the OUR VETERAN HEROES™ bandages to help support veterans by donating 5% of the purchase price of each box you purchase to a charity supporting veterans. These bandages can be found at Walmart, Target, Walgreens, CVS and Rite Aid.
OUR VETERAN HEROES BAND-AID® Brand Adhesive Bandages are so cute with patriotic and military-inspired designs. I love how patriotic they are with themes taken from the United States of America’s flag! My husband and I just got into a conversation about the flag over the weekend. He has a pair of sunglasses that has an American flag hidden in the design and he really loves them because of that small detail. It really is all about the details, and BAND-AID® Brand gets that.
Speaking of the flag, BAND-AID® Brand is proud to help sponsor Team Red, White & Blue’s Old Glory Coast to Coast Relay. From September 11 – November 11, 2014, runners will carry an American flag 3,800 miles across the country to help raise awareness and funds for veteran communities in the US. BAND-AID® Brand is currently also donating $1 for each consumer message supporting these relay runners and thanking veterans, up to $25,000! Just visit http://www.band-aid.com/heroes to share their messages as well as on Facebook, Twitter, and Instagram.
Check out this sweet, touching video. Watching it makes me think about how my son must feel when his daddy is out to sea. Such a difficult time, but these heroes do it everyday. It isn’t just the military hero going through everything. The entire family that supports their military man or woman is a hero, too.
How do you support the veterans in your life?
