I am a big fan of flawless skin and I spend an awful lot of time finding the newest and best in complexion perfecters. For the last few weeks I have been trying out some new-ish CoverGirl makeup and I want to show you have I have been getting Flawless in Five minutes.
I have been starting out by using the Ready, Set Gorgeous Fresh Complexion Oil Free Foundation. I have oily skin so it is nice to use a product that doesn’t add to the mix. I squeeze a little bit out onto the tips of my fingers and dot it all over my face. Still using my fingers I blend it into the skin.
Next comes concealer. The Ready, Set Gorgeous concealer has been one of my favorite things for my under eyes. It has a liquid consistency but it sets up pretty quickly AND I would even go as far as to say that it is borderline full coverage. I found it pretty surprising that this thinner concealer packed such a big punch.
I set everything with the Ready, Set Gorgeous face powder and a kabuki brush. It has a fair amount of pigmentation so a little goes a long way. Using it sparingly creates a velvety finish.
The CoverGirl Bombshell mascara is a really great one and this new Bombshell Curvaceous may just be even better. It has a curved brush on the “Step 1” side and I think that it really helps to reach to the shorter lashes in the inner corner and the lower lash line. One thing I will say about this mascara is that it is extremely difficult for me to remove. Your usage may vary, but this stuff doesn’t budge.
I finish things off with a touch of lipgloss that has a punch of color. The CoverGirl Colorlicious Gloss in Whipped Berry is seriously gorgeous.
Together these products create a simple and understated look. Even with all of the makeup on at once, it doesn’t look like too much makeup. I dig the natural look!
