There is nothing like a fantastic eyeshadow palette. I love palettes that are mostly neutral with a few, totally wearable, pops of color. The brand new Anastasia Beverly Hills Maya Mia palette is one of those palettes that will appeal to the masses! Today the Makeup Wars ladies are all coming up with a fun makeup look/tutorial for you! So let me stop rambling and get to the good stuff already!
“Designed in collaboration with Maya Janeska (@maya_mia_y), these refreshing neutral hues combine with two pops of color to create the ideal palette for summertime looks with a hint of mod style. 10 shades that coordinate flawlessly.” – Anastasia Beverly Hills
The palette has 10 shades. There are a mixture of mattes and satins/shimmers. There is also a double-ended makeup brush that comes in the palette. Each side is completely versatile so it will help you achieve any look you can dream up!
Nude – Matte skin-tone tan.
Deep brown – Matte dark blackened brown.
Sienna – Matte red-toned brown.
Warm Taupe – True matte warm taupe.
Vanilla – Satin white.
Aqua – Shimmering aquamarine blue.
Fresh Peach – Shimmering peach.
Glisten – Shimmering coppery champagne.
Caramel – Matte orange-brown.
Gold Bar – Shimmery gold.
Because I am such a neutral/natural makeup lover I want to show you a easy way to rock a little color. Here is my easy-breezy pop of color eye look.
{one} Apply primer to the lid and lower lash line.
{two} Apply Anastasia Beverly Hills Dipbrow onto brows.
{three} Pack Vanilla on the inner third of the eye.
{four} Blend Warm Taupe onto the center of the lid.
{five} Apply Sienna on the outer third of the lid, blending it into Warm Taupe.
{six} Apply Fresh Peach onto inner half of the lower lash line.
{seven} Apply Aqua onto the outer half of the lower lash line, blending it into the peach shade.
{eight} Deepen outer v with Deep Brown.
{nine} Smudge black liner onto the top lash line. Also apply it to the tight line and/or waterline.
{ten} Apply your favorite coat of mascara.
{eleven} Blend Warm Taupe into crease. I like to do this step after mascara because I like it to appear over my lashes when my eye is open.
{twelve} Apply your favorite falsies. I am using the Eyelure Lovely Lolitas.
Overall I really enjoy this palette. I love that it will appeal to simple gals like myself and also the ones that have a flare for color! I hope you loved my look and I would LOVE to share with you the posts of my friends, the Makeup Warriors! :)
