Today’s Makeup Wars is all about the best black liners. A key beauty products in every makeup stash is a good black eyeliner. Different looks call for different types of liners and everyone has their own preference of formula. I have tried just about all of them (not really, but I like to be dramatic) and I have put together a list of The Best Black Liners.
As far as preference goes I like everything from high end to low end and all different formulas. The ones that I name here are ones that I reach to over and over again. When I run out of them I am always go back to purchase another one.
{one} Jordana Fabuliner – This one wins the award of most affordable great liner. It is a felt tip liquid liner that is quite opaque and stays put. It retails for like $3. Yep, that is it. Only $3!
{two} Rimmel Scandaleyes – This is my all time favorite black eyeliner pencil, ever. It is opaque, DARK black, smoothes on without tugging, AND it is from the drugstore. Theprice of this pencil varies and all the different locations but it is usually between $3.50-$5.
{three} Make Up For Ever Aqua Black – This one is a little bit different. It is actually a waterproof cream eyeshadow but it is so beautifully dark and opaque that I couldn’t help using it as a liner. The rich pigment and creamy texture are just unmatched. It is my favorite of the cream formulas for sure.
{four} L’Oreal Lineur Intense Carbon Black – Thisone has been my longest running favorite. I love that the felt tip stylus on this liquid liner is long and flexible because it actually hugs my lash line as I am drawing it on. It is actually the product that I used that helped me become more comfortable with liquid liners as a whole.
{five} MAC Blacktrack Fluidline – This is a gel liner and probably the only one I have ever lined. It has a super soft texture and applies onto my eyes as smooth as a liquid. The best part is that it stays longer and looks blacker. If you are a MAC lover and you don’t already own this, what are you waiting for?
{six} Too Faced 3-Way Lash Lining Tool – I bought this liner just for the novelty of it. I never in a million years expected it to work so well, but it is truly magnificent. I saw a ton of Asian lines coming out with the dot liners and then Too Faced came along with it and I was skeptical. Needless to say it quickly became a go-to (since it did make a list of “THE BEST”). When I want to make a dramatic wing I use these dots to guide me along. I love that it allows me to play with the line BEFORE I lay a lot of product down.
So now that you have read all about what I consider to be the best black liners go ahead and see what my fellow Makeup Warriors are loving!
