I just got the Rainbow Honey July 2014 Mystery Bag in the mail about an hour ago and I thinkI am making RECORD TIME getting the pictures taken and put up for you to see. I am doing it so quickly in HOPES that it is still available for you to purchase, as I know these sell out. I posted a teaser on Instagram about 20 minutes ago and it got a good bit of attention fairly quickly. Who doesn’t like a good nail polish, right? Anyway, these mystery bags run $10 a pop. You can either subscribe to get them every month or purchase them individually as you want them.
This box was full of some pretty terrific items, as you can see.
I will start with the nail polishes. Right to left: Chemical Plant, Deep Heart Sea, and Viridis.
Chemical Plant is my favorite from the mystery bag. It is a gorgeous sparkling magenta/violet with sparks of blue and gold shimmer. I love how it flashes color.
Deep Heart Sea is a sheer blue jelly base with white hearts and and multi-size neon glitters.
Viridis is a sheer base with a green tint and contains micro glitters as well as neon green stars and pastel glitters. I am partial to micro glitters and stars so this one had me at hello! <3
The other goodies included in this bag are an Eau de Parfum rollerball, Cuticle Balm, and Cooling Gel. They are all in the Midori scent which is actually quite nice. I will say that the rollerball stank of alcohol at first but it dried down to light, fruity fragrance. The cuticle balm contains vitamin e so I already know I will love it.
The cooling gel is quite interesting. It is a brand new product to the brand. It is a gel that is enriched with aloe very and has shimmers in it. I applied it to the back of my hand just to see if the shimmers were annoying and surprisingly, they weren’t. And I actually kinda liked it! :)
Overall I am super happy with the Rainbow Honey July 2014 Mystery Bag (found on their website) and I plan on getting these monthly. Nail polish is always fun to play around with and these 5ml sizes are perfect. I think the non-polish items are always pretty fantastic too!
