The NARS Fall 2014 Color Collection has been announced. It is called the Night Caller. Not only is there a gorgeous line-up of autumnal products, this dramatic color palette also features the exciting launch of new Night Series Eyeliners. I don’t have those to share with you but I am so excited to show you the Dolomites Eyeshadow Duo and the blush named Unlawful.
Dolomites is a beautiful neutral eyeshadow duo. The left side is described as a rosy pink quartz. My description is a gorgeous warm plummy, pink taupe. It has a high-shine, metallic finish and is just beautiful all over the lid. The right side is described as chocolate and I would agree. To me it looks like a reddish brown and is the perfect shade to compliment and deepen the lighter shade.
The texture of this eyeshadow duo is amazing. They are soft and buttery. The left side is perfect while the right side kicks up a good bit of powder, but I didn’t experience fallout when I was putting them on my lid. They blend easily. Perfection.
Unlawful blush is a warm amber pink with silver micro-glitters. It really is love. There are a lot of those micro-glitters packed in this beautiful blush. In my swatches you can see them big time but when these are dusted on the cheek the glitters seem to fall away for the most part. The good thing about these glitters is that when you are using this you don’t actually need a highlighter in addition to the blush.
The swatches on my fingers are both this blush but I felt it was important to show you them side by side because it plays with the light beautifully. You can see that with the movement of your skin you can catch light and it illuminates the cheek bones. The texture is really nice too. Finely milled and very soft.
Overall I think that NARS Night Caller is a beautiful collection full of colors that are perfect for the Fall. For some reason Autumn shades really excite me. I think that it is because the summer is so jam-packed with brights that I am ready for comfortable neutrals. What is it that you love about Fall makeup collections?
