I am sure you all know by now but LORAC Cosmetics released their new PRO palette. The LORAC PRO 2 Palette is still mostly neutral with a few colors. This palette is still half matte, half shimmer. This palette still has amazing textures, formulas and pigmentation. This palette is STILL AWESOME. It is just mostly cool tones versus warm tones. Did I just accidentally give away the ending? I am sure you all guessed it anyway, right? So now you have to stick around and see the 10000 pictures in this post. That was your warning. Turn back now before it is TOO LATE!
OOOOOOO! AHHHHH! Isn’t it pretty?
So, there are 16 eyeshadows in this palette: 8 shimmers and 8 mattes. A little something for everyone. Because they are placed in two rows I am basically going to show you 4 at a time. It is the only way to photograph it and make sense of it for review purposes. So here goes.
The first 4 eyeshadows from left to right are Buff, Light Brown, Snow and Beige.
Buff is just that. Matte skin tone shade.
Light Brown is also pretty explanatory. Matte light brown/tan.
Snow is a shimmery white.
Beige is a shimmery peachy beige.
The next 4 shades are Cool Gray, Nectar, Rosé, and Mocha.
Cool Gray a matte gray-purple taupe.
Nectar a matte peach.
Rosé is a beautiful, shimmery rose gold.
Mocha is a shimmery bronzed brown.
The next 4 shades are Plum, Navy, Chrome and Silver
Plum is a matte purple.
Navy is a deep matte navy blue.
Chrome is a shimmery deep silver with a hint of brown.
Silver is a shimmery true silver.
The next four shades are Charcoal, Black, Jade and Cocoa.
Charcoal is a matte grey.
Black is a matte true black.
Jade is a gorgeous shimmery khaki green.
Cocoa is a rich shimmery chocolate brown.
Here they are all swatched out side by side. The clouds were going in and out the whole time I was trying to take these pictures! I know! #FML, right? So I tried to take several arm swatches in different intensities of natural light so you could get a true idea of what these look like on my medium toned skin.
Like I said in my opening statement. There isn’t a dud in the bunch. These are all so smooth, rich, pigmented and long lasting eyeshadows. The LORAC PRO 2 Palette comes with a nice sized primer, which I have had since the first PRO palette and love. This palette retails for $42 and can be found anywhere that carries LORAC Cosmetics. I have already done a Navy and Rose Gold look using the palette and I have a brown smoky eye coming soon!
So tell me, are you going to buy this palette? Did you already? Do you own the first one?
