In preparing for my son going back to school in a few weeks I have been doing school supply shopping as well as afternoon snack shopping. Everyday after school my son comes home and the first thing out of his mouth is “I’M SO HUNGRY!” So in order to get him focused on his homework and not on his growling stomach I need to get him fueled up quickly. I love buying things that are quick, simple and that he can do himself, which is why I like to keep Hot Pockets and Stouffer’s Mac Cups on hand! After School Fuel is important!
I only just became acquainted with these Stouffer’s Mac Cups and I am so glad I did. I only ever saw the big family size Mac n Cheese before ,which makes it sort of a dinner time thing. These single serving size cups make them perfect for anytime!
And I think these Pepperoni Pizza with Garlic Buttery Seasoned Crust Hot Pockets must be new because I have never seen them before. I was sold as soon as I read Garlic Buttery! HA!
Anyway, I have a 14 month old daughter and a lot of my time gets wrapped up in her so I my son is left fending for himself a lot of the time. The instructions for microwaving Hot Pockets and Mac Cups are so simple that he has no trouble getting it all done himself. He also likes knowing that he can do it himself; he loves feeling independent.
The combo of Mac Cups and Hot Pockets is pretty awesome. I mean, who doesn’t love a tasty Pepperoni Pizza sandwich and Mac n Cheese?
I know my son does. The first thing he said after biting into the Hot Pocket was, “This tastes exactly like pizza! Can I have some dipping sauce?”
So after he fuels up with some brain food he is ready, without excuses, to get right on his homework. I love that! The Stouffer’s Mac Cups 2-packs can be found in the freezer aisle at Walmart along with Hot Pockets! I love the Nestle brand and if you want to see some creative recipes definitely check out their Flavorful Moments site!
