Butter London is one of my favorite nail polish companies so when I learned that they were coming out with a Nail Art Tool Kit I was elated. I am terrible with nail art and I have been looking for just the thing to help me. I see that a lot of my favorite nail artists use these elaborate tools and I am just not savvy enough to put together my own kit. The Butter London Nail Art Tool Kit is EXACTLY what I needed. It comes in this oh-so-cute tin with all of the brushes and other tools nestled inside. There is enough room to easily fit a clear top coat if you are looking to take these traveling with you. And by traveling I mean to work. I used to work in a call center type setting so it was easy for me to do my nails while I was on the phone. This would easily fit down in my handbag without taking up much space.
This is a 6 piece set. Mine randomly had an extra brush in it. Not sure if they all do, but mine definitely had 7 pieces, not 6. You may see a flaw like this, but if so BONUS JONAS!!!
So there are 4 different brushes. L to R: Clean Up Brush (I have 2), Ombré Brush, Long Striping Brush and Striping Brush. The Clean Up Brush is used to dip into nail polish remover and wipe away any imperfections. It also has a fairly precise tip so you COULD use it for applying nail polish in some fashion. The Ombré Brush is perfect for chic ombré designs. The Long Striping Brush is perfect for long, bold lines. The Striping Brush is short and pointed for intricate nail designs.
The other 2 tools included are the Dotting Tool which is dual-ended and is perfect for a fun dotticure! They also include a Nail File to shape and smooth rough edges!
I have already used these a few times and it makes me feel like a pro! WOO HOO!
This was actually my first attempt at leopard print nail art and I am so excited to say that I think it turned out fabulous. They key to knowing this was that I asked my 8 year old son what he saw and he said “cheetah or leopard spots”. YEP! If a kid can guess it and not insult you, you know you did a pretty good job! haha
GO NOW and pick up this fabulous Butter London Nail Art Tool Kit for yourself! I found it on Ulta and Macy’s website!
