I have said it here 1000 times. I love lipstick and lipgloss and all that pretty stuff, but in all reality the only thing I find myself applying throughout the day is balm. It is easy, it makes my lips comfortable and these Pixi Shea Butter Tinted Lip Balms pack a lot of punch in terms of color. I have 5 shades for you today: Comfort Clear, Honey Nectar, Natural Rose, Coral Crush and Ripe Raspberry.
“Awaken lips with this super-nourishing balm. The unique formula is rich but lightweight and gives a gorgeous wash of colour to lips – it’s the perfect pick-me-up anytime! Packed full of beneficial ingredients, this balm soothes lips immediately & nourishes them long term.” – Pixi
The descriptions are pretty obvious. Comfort Clear looks pink in the tube but is absolutely clear. Honey Nectar is a beautiful honey nude. Natural Rose is a pretty rose shade that is very much so a My Lips But Better shade. Coral Crush is going to get a lot of love from me this summer because corals are so “in”. Ripe Raspberry has that just bitten flush in it that makes it so desirable. It is actually sold out on the Pixi website right now and I can totally see why.
What I like about these beautiful balms is that they act like a lipstick but give me all the hydration I look for and deserve. I actually included the Honey Nectar shade in my roundup of the Best Nude Lipstick. They are so creamy and set up so nicely on the lips! You can reference the lipstick post I linked to see the way the Honey Nectar Shade looks on the lips.
Between the Shea Butter and the Vitamin E these Pixi Tinted Lip Balms one of the best, if not THE BEST, tinted lip balm I have ever tried. Because they are a drugstore brand (sold at Target) they are really affordable. I love when I can name a drugstore product THE BEST! Tell me in the comments below which shade you would like the most?
