As you may have guessed from the title of this post, I am a HUGE fan of Orange Is The New Black. I am converting all my friends into zombie slaves for Netflix. When Season 2 debuted on June 6th at 3AM (for east coasters) you better believe I stayed up and watched 2 full episodes before passing out. The next day I finished the entire season. It was just as good as the first season!
I teamed up with Eugenia over at Geniabeme.com for this post. We both are huge fans of the show and wanted to work together on something. She did an inspired look for Alex Vause and I did an inspired look for Piper Chapman. These girls are actually ex-lovers on the show so it was funny that we ended up choosing them. It wasn’t our first thought. I chose to do Piper at the last minute. I feel like Piper’s beautiful makeup look on the advertisement for Season 2 was perfect for me to recreate! I can’t wait to see what Eugenia did!
The look that I was inspired by was very simple makeup. I mean, hello… she is in jail! :)
I was really blown away by the AMOUNT of makeup I used to recreate the look. I only thought I would be using like 6-7 products and before I knew it, there was so much stuff sitting around me. What can I say? I am a product junkie.
