This past winter was brutal for the entire United States. I live in Florida so I didn’t experience the worst of the weather but I am used to an extremely warm climate so my winters are usually mild. The cold, brittle air dried out my arms and legs to a point that I have never experienced before. I am also kind of lazy when it comes to actually applying lotion because with a standard pump I tend to get too much and I just feel like it can get sort of messy. St. Ives has solved my moisturizing problems with their new Continuous Spray Fresh Hydration Lotions!
These lotions spray on a thin, lightweight layer of luxurious moisture onto my skin. It feels great, it isn’t greasy and it sinks in quickly leaving behind silky, smooth, HYDRATED skin, especially after being in the sun all day. All you do is spray it on and rub it in. I know it doesn’t sound much different in concept, but there truly is a major difference. The line also uses 100% natural moisturizers like shea butter and glycerin, which is also important to me as a mother. I want to make sure my family is using the best of the best.
Naturally Soothing Oatmeal & Shea Butter is specifically formulated to soothe dry skin. To me this one feels the most luxurious on the skin. My legs sometimes get super itchy when they are dry and when I spray this on my skin feels amazing. No more itching, no more scaly skin and I feel like I can bare my legs again!
Naturally Energizing Citrus & Vitamin C rejuvenates your skin. It is made with grapefruit extract, vitamin C and 100% natural moisturizers. I remember when I was a teenager my mom bought me some bath and body products that were citrus scented and I will never forget the way they woke me up during my morning shower. Isn’t aroma-therapy so amazing? This one smells great and I will definitely use it on those mornings when I need a boost of energy!
Naturally Indulgent Coconut Milk & Orchid Extract is my favorite of the bunch! This one soothes and calms more than your skin. The coconut reminds me of a beach and the orchid makes me feel so girly. The mixture of these scents is magical, like I am away on some tropical island surrounded by flower gardens. I am completely taken with this scent and I can see this being repurchased time and time again!
The St. Ives Fresh Hydration Lotions are all amazing. I love how they spray on evenly and don’t leave me with that heavy lotion feel. They are super travel friendly because the cap locks. They spray at any angle without getting clogged (I put that one to the test with my son… remember how I mentioned the chasing earlier?). These will be the new daily moisturizers in my house. We are all loving that fresh, light, hydrated feeling!
